Mockspace

New project

Let your agent create the project and prepare its first review. Connect once, sign in, and work from your repository.

1. Connect your agent

Add the hosted MCP endpoint to your agent, then complete its browser sign-in. It creates projects with your identity.

MCP endpoint
https://mockspace.ynext.co/mcp
Codex · run in your terminal
codex mcp add mockspace --url https://mockspace.ynext.co/mcp
codex mcp login mockspace
Claude Code · run in your terminal
claude mcp add --transport http --scope user mockspace https://mockspace.ynext.co/mcp

In Claude Code, run /mcp, select mockspace, and authenticate in your browser. Claude Code authentication

2. Ask your agent to set up this repository

Open your repository in the agent and paste this prompt. The project appears in your workspace as soon as it is created; the first publish fills its canvas.

Create a Mockspace project for this repository using the connected Mockspace MCP.
Inspect the repository to choose a project slug, its app directory, and a short description.
Call list_projects first to reuse an existing project. If needed, call create_project with project, repo, workspace, and description.
Read https://mockspace.ynext.co/agent-guide.md and prepare the app's Mockspace configuration, preserving existing work.
Capture and validate a review, then publish it to https://mockspace.ynext.co with --as <registered-slug>. Return the workspace and review URLs.
If authentication is needed, guide me through signing in. Never put credentials in source files or review links.

Already have a project? The agent finds and reuses it. Repository access and running your app stay with your agent.

Automating a workflow? Use the API

POST /api/projects accepts an OAuth access token, a personal API token, or a configured machine token. Pass credentials in a header, never in the URL.

Terminal · MOCKSPACE_TOKEN must contain your token
curl --fail-with-body https://mockspace.ynext.co/api/projects \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $MOCKSPACE_TOKEN" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
--data '{"project":"my-app","repo":"owner/repository","workspace":".","description":"What the app helps people do"}'

A new project returns 201, its workspace URL, and setup instructions. Retrying the same details with the same identity returns the existing project. Read the API contract.
